Harris Teeter Super Doubles

I was so far behind on organizing my coupons that I was really dreading super doubles at Harris Teeter this month. Don't get me wrong, I love saving good money. I just had no motivation. Finally, I just made my self get organized and after that I was super excited to go shopping.

I didn't do as well as I probably could have but I have a pretty good stash and really needed more perishable items than anything. I did however use a $25 HT Gift Card that I got for reviewing turkey deli meat for the NCSU Food Science department so my OOP was pretty low.

I think I could have done better but a lot of the stuff I bought I actually needed. I didn't buy too many stock items. Hopefully they will do triples again soon and I will be ready!

HT Super Doubles

I made my first trip to HT this morning for Super Doubles. I wasn't in the mood at all to go grocery shopping but we have a packed weekend ahead of us and this was the only time I had to go. So I packed up the boy, coupons and reusable bags and headed out. I did pretty well but I think if I'd been in "the zone" I may have done better. This was our big grocery trip so there were alot of things that didn't have coupons but were needed.

I haven't even started recovering my coupon binder from triples and now there's talk of Super Doubles at Harris Teeter again. I've heard this from alot of reliable sources so I better get moving.
