(Jude Aidan - 10 Days Old!)No I'm not talking about the 80's Game Show, Press Your Luck (big bucks, big bucks, no whammies!) I'm talking about the 6.5 hours of straight sleep I got last night. For most people that's nothing but for the mother of a 12 day old baby I think it's unheard of.
I woke up at 5:30 am a little surprise and slightly nervous. All three of us went to bed around 11:30 pm and now it's 5:30 am and Jude is still asleep. Obviously, I checked to see if he was breathing, he gave a little grunt and wiggled around then laughed (I know they say babies don't laugh yet but it sure sounded and looked like a laugh) and kept sleeping. I laid there half awake thinking he was going to wake up any moment... then about 30 minutes later he started to stir and finally opened his eyes... looking content and ready to greet the morning.
I'm hoping we are setting a trend with this recent pattern of behavior but it could just be a fluke. I'm hoping he takes after his father and enjoys sleep... I'm thinking he probably does!
