Making Ice Cream

Joe's parents bought us an ice cream maker for our wedding and until a few weeks ago we never used it, primarily because we didn't know how. So one day we decided to try it out... we followed the instructions that came with the maker to the "t". However, we ended up with warm milk and scrambled eggs! So a few days later we mustered up the courage to try again however we wisely decided to forgo the enclosed instructions and use the recipe Joe's mom gave us. Fortunately we finally found success!
