What a week...

So, I don't want this blog to be a place for me to rant and rage about my pitiful life but this week deserves a nod. It didn't start so bad just regular pregnancy and work issues. It all started on Wednesday, a sharp pain in my back. I thought it was something that would work itself out but after lunch I was in such pain I couldn't stand it any longer. I left work and barely made it home. The next few days have been a blur filled with horrible back pain, throwing up and an amazing husband at my side! Finally, today I went to the doctor confirming my suspicions about having an urinary tract infection. Just as I got my prescription from the pharmacy I got a call from my contact at the temp agency letting me know the company I've been working for doesn't need me anymore. Apparently, my work wasn't up to par. Now it's one thing to let someone go for doing poor work but it's another thing to do it when they've been out sick. Serious low blow! I highly doubt my work wasn't good enough, I think they just realized I didn't really do much while I was gone... or maybe they were just mad that I took off because I was sick. Anyway, I'm not too worried about it because I know I'm an excellent employee... just a little pissed that they couldn't talk to me about their "issues" before I left. They had to wait till I was down and out to... nice guys!
